ARKit is an architect-led design and build group specialising in architecturally designed, high-quality prefabricated building projects. Founded by Craig Chatman, an architect and registered builder with 25 years' experience, ARKit collaborates with clients to design sustainable, energy-efficient buildings including Passive House projects. Craig was a founding board member of prefabAUS. The company has delivered approximately 130 social housing homes across Victoria for Homes Victoria as part of the Big Housing Build, from Swan Hill to Mallacoota to Horsham. ARKit offers both modular and panelised construction systems, with typical residential builds completed in 12-18 weeks – half the time of traditional construction. The team includes in-house architects, designers, project managers, and building professionals. ARKit has recently established MULTIKit, a new business developing low-carbon solutions for mid-rise residential buildings.
