Evissa was founded as a partnership between Elena Cazacu (Registered Architect and Certified Passive House Designer) and Gareth Owens (Domestic and Commercial Builder and Passive House Certified). The company is dedicated to democratising access to healthy and truly sustainable living using Evissa SIPs modular technology and applying building science across all design and construct projects. Evissa manufactures Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) under their own CodeMark certification, creating buildings that are airtight, well-insulated, and achieve the highest levels of comfort and indoor air quality using Passivhaus design principles. The panels are pre-engineered and delivered to site in 8-10 weeks. By applying Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), 80% of effort goes into millimetre-perfect detailing so panels arrive on site ready to slot together. Elena Cazacu is a recognised expert in building physics and thermal bridging.
