DWTT – FutureFit™
Originally established as hardwood sawmillers, Drouin West Timber and Truss (DWTT) have been manufacturing prefabricated timber roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall frames since 1980.
In 2013, DWTT evolved again with the launch of FutureFit™, introducing next-generation European panelised construction methods to Australia. Operating from our 9,000m² advanced facility equipped with four CNC machines, we manufacture high-precision panelised wall and floor cassette systems. Each panel can include external cladding, firewalls, windows, and flooring—installed under controlled factory conditions for superior quality and speed.
Once manufactured, DWTT delivers and installs these systems onsite, dramatically accelerating progress to the lock-up stage and enabling builders on medium-density projects to reach key progress payments much sooner.
Our Panelisation approach is designed for flexibility—typically fully compatible with most medium-density residential designs, as well as existing inspection and payment processes. On average, DWTT can complete double-storey townhouse installations in just 2.5 days, allowing builders to achieve both framing and lock-up just days afterwards.
