Dr Ewelina is Assistant Professor at Cracow University of Technology, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at DMD Modular Ltd based in Poland
Dr Ewelina is both an educator and an entrepreneur with an inquisitive passion for innovative design and research. She balances her time between nurturing her students in architecture and strategic urban planning at the Cracow University of Technology [CUT] and when she is not an academic, she embraces her entrepreneurial tasks as CEO and MD at DMD Modular Ltd. Her main focus is attaining sustainability both in the ecological and financial aspects of the built-environment. As a past Director of Innovation and Product Development, Ewelina has actively spear-headed modular construction in Poland often bridging academic research and to the manufacturing industries. She has travelled extensively establishing international partnerships between European and Asian Universities in the realm of promoting modularity in architecture and urban design.
Dr Ewelina, will be presenting the role of modular construction more specifically in the hospitality industry with an emphasis on a current project being manufactured at the DMD plant in Poland. She adamantly believes that the role of an architect is to ensure both quality and aesthetic as a wholesome entity.
