Tamika Smith
Tamika Smith is the Founder of My Bella Casa, Founding Director of TSR Property Solutions, and Founding Executive Chair of Top 100 Women.
Tamika’s expertise ranges from effectively chairing and managing at a board level to development, project management and overseeing Australian residential manufacturing for affordable housing.
TSR Property Solutions was founded in 2016 when Tamika combined her passion for improving the building industry with an opportunity to deliver affordable and social housing project solutions, including State and Federal funded developments across Northern New South Wales. Key to Tamika’s success has been simplifying processes, a reverse-engineered model that has allowed TSR Property Solutions to produce profitable projects more effectively.
After gaining experience in the affordable housing segment, Tamika founded My Bella Casa, an Australian manufacturing business building one and two-bed homes at an affordable price, in response to the most in-demand sized homes on the housing waitlist. Through My Bella Casa, Tamika created a bridge between commercial acumen and an understanding of what this segment of the market most needs.
In 2018 Tamika founded the online community platform Top 100 Women, which seeks to address the key obstacles for women in construction. It currently connects 21,000 individuals globally, providing access to resources, networks, mentors, industry insights, online events, courses and employment opportunities.
Tamika’s long career within the construction sector, combined with her passion for positive industry development, has resulted in extensive accolades including a listing in the Top Three Female Entrepreneurs as voted by Gold Coast Bulletin in 2020 and being named Most Influential Woman in Construction by the International Built Construction and Engineering Awards in the United Kingdom in 2019.
