Australian timber cladding with a better than zero carbon footprint.
Weathertex is a family owned Australian manufacturer of sustainable cladding, proudly produced in New South Wales since 1939. Weathertex products are widely specified across residential, commercial and prefabricated construction projects across Australia and internationally.
Well suited to Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and off-site manufacturing, Weathertex panels combine lightweight performance (less than 9 kg/m²) with strong structural characteristics, including a product density of approximately 1000 kg/m³ and a minimum strength rating of 32 MPa. This balance supports efficient factory handling while maintaining durability and impact resistance.
Weathertex also provides significant design flexibility, with panels capable of curving to a minimum radius of 1500 mm for Weathergroove panels and 2500 mm for Selflok weatherboards, enabling adaptable façade design within modular or panelised systems.
The product is Codemark certified, termite resistant and backed by an up to 25-year warranty not to split, crack or rot. Sustainability is central to the material, with the Weathertex Natural Range becoming the first product globally to achieve both Platinum Product Health Declaration (PHD) and Platinum Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) certification from Global GreenTag, recognising leading environmental and health credentials.
Weathertex, a better choice naturally!
