Binderholz Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian subsidiary of Binderholz GmbH, a family-owned and managed Austrian wood processing company established in 1950 in Fügen, Tirol.
The global group operates 28 international sites and employs approximately 5,000 people. Binderholz specialises in solid timber products and mass timber construction solutions, utilising 100% of the renewable raw material wood from cultivation through to final product.
The company is renowned for its BBS (Brettsperrholz) cross-laminated timber panels, which are used in applications ranging from single-family homes to residential buildings, public and industrial buildings. Binderholz CLT has been used in landmark Australian projects including Melbourne's Forte Living, which was the world's tallest plyscraper framed with CLT alone when completed.
