PrefabAUS Board Member Craig Chatman returned from a prefab study tour of Germany in early December, reviewing panelised prefabrication and productivity. 

As Australian cities contend with an increased need for densification, urban infill projects can face many obstacles, in particular the period of disruption during a typically drawn out construction process with its associated dust and noise. 

Located on the congested and chaotic Springvale Road in Melbourne, Nunawading Train Station was fabricated off site to enable a fast tracked construction timeline and to ensure the highest level of quality.

Last weekend, PrefabAUS was delighted to witness the installation of 10 modules to create 7 new 21C learning spaces at Duffy Primary School, Canberra

Robotised Architecture explored a fast approaching step change in construction – engaging robotics in the manufacture of our built environment.
