Prefabricated Pods
by Pique
The challenge of adding substantial living space to established homes has long been complicated by structural constraints, extended construction timelines, and the inevitable disruption to family life. Traditional second-storey additions typically require months of invasive construction work, forcing families to relocate or endure significant inconvenience whilst compromising the architectural integrity of existing structures.
PIQUE's prefabricated pod system represents a fundamental reimagining of how residential additions can be conceived and delivered. Designed by Keen Architecture for a family of six, this pioneering project demonstrates how three precision-manufactured modules can transform a mid-century home by adding 130 square metres of living space whilst challenging conventional perceptions about modular construction aesthetics and capabilities.

Panelised Prefabrication System by AltForm
AltForm's patented panelised prefabrication system enhances construction efficiency through integrated structural frameworks, reducing construction programs by up to 60%. The Ormond project utilised the system across 85-90% ofthe building envelope, enabling double-storey homes to reach lock-up in 28 days compared to typical 8-10 week timeframes.
