Simon McCarthy, Principal Engineer, Bryden Wood

Simon has over 20 years of experience as a Structural Engineer and has been the project lead on low to medium rise residential, commercial, retail, educational, industrial and health projects. Since 2015, Simon has developed a specialty in the design of multi-storey permanent modular structures using DfMA, lean and offsite construction techniques. He is regularly called upon for his expertise in conferences, web presentations and industry publications. Simon is an advocate for efficient design and the continual improvement of construction methods to ensure we will deliver the most appropriate, best practice techniques on all new projects.
