QC Architectural specialises in premium factory-applied coating systems for architectural building materials, supplying prefinished products directly to the construction industry.
Co-founded by Jack Brown, a painter with over 10 years of on-site experience, QC Architectural was established after years of witnessing the labour shortages, inconsistent quality, and inefficiencies that occur when coating systems are applied on construction sites. Since launching in December 2021, the business has evolved from a small shed operation into one of Australia’s most advanced factory coating facilities.
Operating from a purpose-built production facility in Queensland, QC Architectural combines automated coating technology with controlled factory processes to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes on a wide range of architectural substrates. Materials are sourced or supplied by clients, professionally coated in a controlled environment, and delivered to site ready for installation - eliminating the need for painting, sanding, and finishing trades on site.
The facility features a 110-metre automated coating line capable of applying multiple coats simultaneously, with products entering raw and exiting fully cured within minutes. With the capacity to process up to 500,000m² annually, QC Architectural helps builders, architects, and manufacturers reduce labour requirements, accelerate construction timelines, and achieve superior finish quality.
Sustainability also underpins the company’s operations, with approximately 50% of facility energy supplied through solar generation and battery storage.
