Challenge Cup 2026 Submissions

Participants were challenged to design modular, panelised, or hybrid MMC housing typologies that respond to:

  • Cultural practices and preferences of Indigenous communities

  • Climatic and resilience requirements of the region (universities will be matched with a community within their state)

  • Community aspirations for self‑determination and long‑term stewardship

  • Sustainability, circularity, and low‑carbon construction principles

  • Pathways to manufacturing, assembly, and ongoing maintenance.
