 Expandify designs and manufactures expandable modular dwellings that go beyond traditional shipping container homes. The company offers a premium range of expandable modular homes featuring open-plan living, kitchen, and dining areas that transition to full-length verandas. Key features include the industry-leading patented expandable roof design with a 10° pitch (providing the look of a traditional home), 2.4m to 2.7m pitched fully certifiable high ceilings, 120mm thick insulated walls, and high-quality double-glazed windows. All homes are classified as Class 1a buildings under the National Construction Code (NCC), meeting strict requirements for structural integrity, fire safety, energy efficiency, and liveability. Expandify offers both complete turnkey packages with professional installation (5-7 business days on-site assembly) and DIY Dwelling Kits for owner-builders.

  • We can produce 80-100 buildings per year. Time frames can vary depending on time of year and availability of crew but a general time from for dwellings to arrive on site is 20-24 weeks with 4-6 weeks on site once installation commences.
